To receive this endorsement, applicants must pass a test consisting of 20 multiple choice questions. Each question has three or four answer choices. To pass, the applicant must answer at least 16 questions correctly. Test questions come from the Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s Manual. Questions come from chapters covering: Driving Safely and Transporting Passengers Safely. The Passenger endorsement can be used with the Class A, B or C CDL.

Look directly at the headlights.
Flash your high beam lights to remind the driver to switch to their low beams.
Look to the right side of your lane until the vehicle has passed.
Pull to the side of the road until the vehicle has passed.
